“Christmas Cupid” (8 p.m., ABC Family): TV delivers its umpteenth twist on Dickens with “Christmas Cupid.” It’s a new film about a workaholic Hollywood publicist (Christina Milian) who endures visits by the ghosts of her past, present and future boyfriends.
“Leverage” (9 p.m., TNT): “Leverage” gets into the holiday spirit as Nate (Timothy Hutton) and his team work to restore Santa’s good name by infiltrating a mall on Christmas Eve. Once there, they uncover a shady scheme perpetrated by an enemy from the past.
“Wishful Drinking” (9 p.m., HBO): Carrie Fisher puts the “fun” in dysfunction via this wickedly hysterical one-woman stage performance about the not-so-bright side of life as a Hollywood celebrity. Spewing juicy anecdotes and tart one-liners, Fisher takes her audience on a soul-baring journey from stardom to divorce, remarriage to the death of a close friend and addiction to mental illness. Along the way, the daughter of Eddie Fisher and Debbie Reynolds recounts how her life was changed forever at the age of 19 when she donned a white dress as Princess Leia in “Star Wars.” Making its television debut, “Wishful Drinking” was taped last summer before a live audience.

‘Ugly Sweater’ revue at Rust Belt theater

Rust Belt Theater Company will present “The Ugly Christmas Sweater Revue” at 8 p.m. Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Dec. 19 at the Calvin Center, 755 Mahoning Ave., Youngstown. The family-friendly Broadway-style revue features classic and contemporary Christmas music, comedy, dance and locally-focused dialogue, with all of the performers wearing ugly Christmas sweaters.
Audience members are invited to wear them as well, and prizes will go to the person with the ugliest sweater.
Rust Belt is also teaming up with The Lemon Grove Cafe, 122 W. Federal St., to offer a dinner-theater package for the show. It includes dinner for two, two show tickets, free popcorn and refreshments, a hand-crafted rusty snowflake ornament and a hand-painted box. A $75 value, it is priced at $50.
