Ray anniversary is celebrated at Mauthe Park

Family members and invited guests gathered on Nov. 14 at Mauthe Park in Struthers to honor Mr. and Mrs. Joe Ray of Campbell on the occasion of their 50th wedding anniversary.

Hosts for the dinner celebration were their children and their spouses John and Frances Lynch and Joe and Carla Ray, all of Youngstown; Ralph and Shirley Green of Newaygo, Mich.; Mike and Janet Szenborn, Frank and Charlotte Roman, Larry Ray, and Mike and Cindy Wilfong, all of Campbell; Tom and Phyllis Torres of Sun City, Calif; Terri DeLorenzo of Struthers; and Greg and Sandy Marshall, Howard and Mary Ann Moore, and Jim and Debbie Chill, all of New Castle, Pa.

Rounding out the family circle are 26 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.

Mr. Ray and the former Delores Iwanejko were united in marriage Nov. 14, 1960, at the courthouse in Oakland, Md.

Mrs. Ray, a homemaker, is a member of St. Joseph the Provider Church.

Mr. Ray retired as a welder/boilermaker in 1985 from Youngstown Sheet and Tube Co. in Campbell. He is a member of First Baptist Church, Aut Mori Grotto, Scottish Rite and Hillman Lodge.
