GARDEN CLUBS | This week's meetings announced

MONDAY

East will meet for a Christmas party at 11:30 a.m. at Stonebridge Restaurant, 1497 Boardman-Canfield Road, Boardman. Madelyn Pedaline will serve as hostess.

Garden Gate will have a Christmas party at 1 p.m. with Arletta Webber as hostess and Marcella Depinto as co-hostess.

TUESDAY

Moccasin will have a Christmas party.

New Bedford will meet at 6 p.m. at the Rosetta Stone in Youngstown for a Christmas party and secret-sister gift exchange.

THURSDAY

Daisy Dozen will meet at 6:30 p.m. at Youngstown Country Club for a holiday party beginning with hors d’oeuvres and cocktails in the great hall; there will be a cash bar for nonmembers. Dinner will be at 7:30 in the east lounge. Music will be by Gale George. Carol Gubany, Janet Weller, Carol Vechiarelli and Judy Wexler will be in charge. The cost is $35 per person. Checks should be mailed to Vechiarelli.

Johnny Appleseed will have a Christmas party at Tippecanoe Country Club. Gifts will be exchanged, and officers will be installed.

SATURDAY

Sunflower will have a Christmas party.

Garden club events are published Sunday. The deadline is noon Thursday.
