Accidents drop 3 percent for younger drivers

COLUMBUS

Transportation officials in Ohio say there were 3 percent fewer crashes involving 15- to 25-year-old drivers this year.

The Columbus Dispatch reports that translates to 4,100 fewer crashes between January and the end of September, compared with the same period last year.

There were 106,420 crashes between January and the end of September.

Most of those occurred after school between 4 and 6 p.m.
