Send a soldier a 'Comfort Kit'

The American Red Cross of the Mahoning Valley is offering a gift to send to deployed military personnel.

Called a “Heroes Comfort Kit,” the mailable container contains a deodorant stick, shaving cream packets, a disposable safety razor, deodorant soap bar, toothpaste and toothbrush, a comb and shampoo and a “tablet towel” that looks like a pill but expands to a towel when wet.

The kits are $5 plus shipping and are available at the Boardman and Warren locations by calling 330-726-6063 or 330-392-2551.

Proceeds from the Heroes Comfort Kits will help sustain the Red Cross Services to Military programs.
