Reardon, Poland rally past Quakers

Colin Reardon scored a career-high 34 points, including the final free throw with 0.8 seconds remaining, to lead the Poland High boys basketball team to a 71-70 win over Salem on Friday night.
Salem’s final shot went the length of the court and hit the rim before bouncing away.
Trailing 60-50 in the fourth quarter, the Bulldogs (2-0) surged.
Darius Patton scored 17 points and Drew Wagner made five steals and nine assists for Poland.
The Quakers, who outscored the Bulldogs 25-12 in the third quarter, were led by Ryan Bush with 19 points while Ryan Wolfgang and Jake Madison each scored 17 points.
Trent Kenreicht made three-3-pointers for nine points.
Hubbard 80, Beaver Local 40
HUBBARD
Jeremy Collins scored 16 points to lead four Eagles in double figures and Hubbard jumped out to a 30-7 lead after one quarter to take control.
Cory Groscost scored 15, Kory Hopkinson had 13 and Mike Lopuchovsky had 10 for Hubbard.
Ryan Smith had 12 and Troy Hudson had 10 for Beaver Local (0-3).
Girard 55, Warren JFK 47

Evan Standohar made six 3-pointers to finish with 18 points and propel Girard, which outscored JFK 21-11 in the fourth quarter.
Matt Pagano added 18 points for the Indians.
Dominic Naples had 11 points and Martae Hainesworth 10 for JFK.
Niles 46, Liberty 45
NILES
Ray Russ scored four of his 10 points in overtime to help lift Niles.
Tyler Negro added 12 points and Niles outscored the Leopards 6-5 in the extra session to get the victory.
Jaylen Mann had 17 points for Liberty.
Howland 61, Lakeview 48
HOWLAND
T.J. Lanier scored 24 points and Howland used a 13-2 advantage in the third quarter to take control.
Josh Davis added 15 points for the Tigers (2-1).
Elliot Metheny was the only player in double figures for Lakeview.
