Memorial service to honor children

YOUNGSTOWN

Mahoning County-Youngstown Chapter of Bereaved Parents of the USA will have a candlelight memorial service at 6 p.m. Tuesday at First Presbyterian Church, 201 Wick Ave., to honor and remember children who have passed away.

The self-help organization offers friendship and understanding to bereaved parents, siblings and grandparents. Meetings are the third Tuesday of each month at Park Vista, 1216 Fifth Ave.

Support group meetings planned

Alzheimer’s Network Family Support Group has scheduled the following meetings: Monday at 7 p.m. at St. John Russian Orthodox Church, 322 Struthers-Liberty Road, Campbell; Tuesday at 7 p.m. at Redeemer Lutheran, 2305 S. Canfield-Niles Road, Austintown; Thursday at 6 p.m. at Sunrise Assisted Living, 335 W. McKinley, Poland; and Friday at 10 a.m. at Canfield Christian Church, 123 Broad St., Canfield.
