Frank Ohl Intermediate welcomed Billy Craig for an “I Love This School Tour Assembly Show” Dec. 3. Craig took on the persona of three characters, Super Sam, SchoolJa Boy and Ziggy, to relay different messages to the students.

Through musical selections, Craig focused on areas pertaining to respect, keeping your hands to yourself, bullies, reading, peace and the importance of teachers. Students sang and danced to the tunes while learning why school is cool. They even took a statement of oath saying they will love their school forever.

At the conclusion of the assembly, Craig left students with two take-away points.

“Reading rocks and bullies are absolutely not cool,” he said.
