Individual projects

John Wolford, LaBrae Middle School: Using Lego NXT Mindstorm brick and sensors, 130 students in seventh grade will participate in a problem-based learning unit centered on data logging, the collection of data in order to learn more about a process or system.

Leanne Thomas, Bloomfield Jr./Sr. High School: High school art students will design and construct architectural models using concepts learned in a collaborative unit between geometry and art. Students will compete in a model competition.

Shari Zachasee, Taft Elementary, Youngstown: Preschool students will benefit from the integration of literacy and technology that encourages active participation in reading.

Christina Kappler, Lordstown Elementary: The project integrates technology and music focused on increasing achievement in math.
