The Warren City Schools Foundation officially launched its annual fund drive campaign, geared toward generating funds that will enable the foundation to raise needed monies to benefit students of the Warren City School District.
The foundation operates off of grant funding and includes a nonpaid board of trustees.
It’s the foundation’s mission to become a self-sustaining foundation.
Taking the foundation to the next level will require the help of many, the support of district alumni, Warren Western Reserve graduates, Warren G. Harding Panther and Raider alumni, as well as the greater Warren community and those passionate about helping to offset declining funding for the school district.
The annual campaign offers various giving levels for benefactors to consider, from a level-one donation of $150 to a level five with a $10 donation.
Alumni can support their former school and in doing so they will receive alumni-wear based on their commitment level. Levels include either a hooded sweat shirt, crew-neck sweat shirt or T-shirt in choice of select colors (red, gold, white, oxford gray and pink) and mascot (Old Raider, Current Raider or Panther) are available.
In addition to the alumni-wear, a special commemorative photo of Warren G. Harding High School taken in 2008 or a Raider cheer roller is offered based on giving level, both items compliments of Mr. and Mrs. Barney Macali.
The foundation website uses secure PayPal for all online transactions and also can accommodate mail-in orders.
