Mahoning County Children Services is looking for adults interested in adoption.

A group of adoption advocates organized an awareness event at the Ohio Statehouse in Columbus last month, and the theme was “Filling Family Portraits.”
During the event, hundreds of picture frames were displayed in the Statehouse atrium to symbolize the children who still are waiting for a permanent family. Staff members from the agency participated.
To learn about adoption, contact Radhika Cruz at Children Services at 330-941-8852 or by e-mail at cruzr@odjfs.state.oh.us.
