Disney’s “Alice in Wonderland Jr.,” Salem Community Theatre, 490 E. State St., Salem. Youth Theater auditions will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday and Monday. Callbacks will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday. Need large cast of girls and boys age 6 to 16. Please prepare a short song and be ready for a simple dance combination. Sheet music preferred. You may use a CD without vocals or sing a cappella. “Curtains,SDRq Carnation City Players at Firehouse Theater, Alliance. Auditions are 7 p.m. Monday and Wednesday. J.E. Ballantyne Jr. will be directing, with Kim Lewis as musical director and Missie Gardner as choreographer. Auditioners are asked to come prepared with a song one- minute long. There will be no a cappella singing or tape/CDs. Bring sheet music for the accompanist. You will also be asked to read from the script, and there may be a short choreography audition. “The Tempest,SDRq Kent Trumbull Theatre, 4317 Mahoning Ave. NW, Warren. Auditions will be Tuesday and Wednesday. Cast includes 13 to 15 men and six to eight women with two to four dancer roles. Actors are required to prepare a one- to two- minute Shakespearean monologue, preferably memorized. The role of Prospero has been cast. Performances are in March.
