Buckcherry coming to Covelli Centre

YOUNGSTOWN

The Jagermeister Music Tour, featuring Buckcherry, Hellyeah, All That Remains and The Damned Things, will come to Covelli Centre on Feb. 8.

Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. Saturday at all Ticketmaster outlets and the Covelli box office.

All tickets are general admission and are $27.50.

Dinner-dance at the Elm Tree

A Christmas dinner-dance with DJ Ron Chick will be Saturday from 7 to 11 p.m. at the Elm Tree, 170 Walton Ave.

The BYOB event, sponsored by singles groups Plenty of Fish and DARE, is open to the public.

The sponsors had originally advertised the event as being on Friday night.

Cleopatra exhibit

CINCINNATI

Jewelry, gold coins and other remnants from the time of Queen Cleopatra highlight an exhibition about the ancient Egyptian queen coming to the Cincinnati Museum Center on Feb. 18.

The exhibit also features a papyrus document containing an inscription that scientists believe was written by Cleopatra.

Visitors also can view 16-foot statues of a king and queen from the third and fourth centuries B.C. that were pulled from the sea along Egypt’s coast.
