Summary of police activity in the city of Canfield and Austintown Township:

CANFIELD

Dec. 1

Warrant: Stark County police arrested Jurell Johnson, 24, of 813 Milner St., Alliance, on a Canfield Mayor’s Court warrant, and he was handed over to local police.

Obstructing official business: Police arrested Valeria Luchette, 52, of 251 Jefferson Place, on a charge of obstructing official business.

Dec. 3

Theft: A diamond ring, two gold and ruby rings, two gold necklaces and a gold bracelet were reported stolen from a Carriage Lane apartment.

Nov. 29

Criminal damaging: A register was damaged at McDonald’s, 1150 N. Canfield-Niles Road.

Recovered property: A woman’s leather purse was recovered at IGA, 4477 Mahoning Ave.

Fraud: A woman tried to cash a fraudulent check at Chase Bank, 5531 Mahoning Ave.

Theft: A Wii console was stolen from a home in the 3000 block of Oakleigh Street.

Menacing: A man is a suspect in menacing at Off The Top, 5623 Mahoning Ave.

Burglary: Clothes and money were stolen and items were damaged at a home in the 4000 block of Crabwood Drive.

Criminal damaging: Two juveniles are suspects in breaking a window at Save A Step, 4825 Mahoning Ave.

Nov. 30

Assault: A man and his girlfriend were assaulted at an apartment in the 4000 block of Kirk Road.

Fraud: Unauthorized charges were reported at an apartment in the 1000 block of Compass West.

Dec. 1

Recovered property: A man’s wallet was recovered at Speedway, 4401 Kirk Road.

Breaking and entering: Twelve strips of steel in 12-inch lengths were stolen from Youngstown Bending and Rolling, 3710 Henricks Road.

Criminal damaging: A boat cover was slashed at a home in the 3000 block of Meanderwood Drive.

Criminal damaging: A vehicle windshield was damaged at Techni-Cuts, 67 Ohltown Road.

Warrant: Police arrested William Fisher, 31, of 85 Royal Mall Drive, Niles, on a bench warrant charging failure to appear.

Warrant: Police arrested Britney McMurray, 19, of 6721 Tippecanoe Road, Canfield, on a warrant alleging assault.

Theft: A rear license plate was stolen from an auto parked at an apartment in the 4000 block of Woodhurst Drive.

Dec. 2

Theft: An employee is suspected of theft at Walmart, 6001 Mahoning Ave.

Telephone harassment: A woman is a victim of telephone harassment at a home in the 500 block of Notre Dame Avenue.

Theft: A total of $49 in fuel was taken at Shell gas station, 4200 Mahoning Ave.

Theft: A rear license plate was stolen from an auto parked at a home in the 10 block of Idlewood Road.

Burglary: Copper pipe was taken from a home in the 6000 block of Fairview Road.

Burglary: There are two suspects in a burglary at a home in the 7000 block of Backwater Cove.

Warrant: Police arrested Amanda Cox, 23, of 80 S. Beverly Ave., on a warrant charging failure to appear on a charge of disorderly conduct.

Dec. 3

Auto theft: A 1998 Chevrolet Blazer was stolen at Conroy’s Express, 3670 S. Meridian Road.

Fraud: A fraudulent wire transfer of $3,500 to the Dominican Republic was reported at a home in the 4000 block of Aspen Drive.

Fraud: A fraudulent check was cashed at Walmart.

Theft: A bank bag containing $1,388 was stolen at McDonald’s, 5525 Mahoning Ave.

Theft: An unspecified amount of diesel fuel was stolen at the TA Travel Center, 5400 Seventy-Six Drive.

Theft: A purse was stolen at IGA.

Warrant: Police arrested Shirley North, 43, of 7057 West Blvd., Boardman, on a warrant charging failure to appear.

Fraud: Unauthorized transactions were made on a debit card at a home in the 2000 block of Penny Lane.

Drug offense: Police issued a summons to Amanda Boggs, 23, of 680 Cook Ave., Boardman, on charges of possession of drug paraphernalia and marijuana and to Alexander Hahn, 25, of 1743 Mahoning Ave., on a charge of possession of drug paraphernalia.

Dec. 4

Aggravated robbery: A man was robbed at an ATM at Chase Bank, 4243 Mahoning Ave.

Theft: A handgun was stolen from a home in the 1000 block of Paisley Ave.

Counterfeit currency: Counterfeit $100 bills were reported at Walmart.

Theft: Rings were stolen at a home in the 200 block of South Roanoke Avenue.

Theft: A GPS unit and tools were stolen at Walmart.

Dec. 5

Disturbance: Several people were fighting inside the Ice House Inn, 5516 W. Webb Road.

Criminal damaging: A lamp post was damaged at a home in the 3000 block of Vollmer Drive.

Theft: A computer and monitor were stolen from a home in the 70 block of Carnegie Avenue.

Theft: Dolls, rings and a watch were stolen from a home in the 5000 block of Yorktown Lane. Police arrested the accused, Sean Page, no address or age listed, on a warrant charging failure to appear on a disorderly conduct charge.

Burglary: A burglary was reported at a home in the 60 block of Lexington Place.

Theft: Clothing was stolen by a woman at Kmart, 4475 Mahoning Ave. The suspect took pills and was transported to St. Elizabeth Health Center.
