Boar’s Head Ladies of St. John’s Episcopal Church, 323 Wick Ave., Youngstown, will sponsor a chicken dinner from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. today at the church. The menu will include salad, mashed potatoes and gravy, bread and butter, pie and beverage. Cost is $6.50, and containers will be provided for takeout orders. No reservations are necessary. THURSDAY
Calvary United Methodist Church, 12062 South Ave. Ext., North Lima, will have a drive-through homemade chicken dinner from 4 to 6 p.m. (or until sold out) . Dinners include stuffed chicken breast, mashed potatoes and gravy, green beans and a brownie. The cost is $6. Drive up to the door and a volunteer will bring the meal to your car. FRIDAY
American Legion F.D.R. Post 560, 103 12th St., Campbell, will serve fish or shrimp dinners from noon to 6 p.m. The cost is $7 for adults and $4 for children 12 and under. Meals include macaroni and cheese or french fries, coleslaw or haluski, and bread and butter. Desserts and beverages will be available. There will be a 50-50 raffle. Holy Trinity Church, 250 Bridge St., Struthers, will sell potato, cabbage and lekvar pirogi. Orders will be taken from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday and from 8:30 to 11 a.m. Friday at 330-755-0064. Holy Trinity Serbian Orthodox Church, 53 Laird Ave., Youngstown, will serve fish dinners from 3:30 to 7 p.m. at the church hall. The menu will consist of baked or fried Icelandic cod or fried haddock; sides of Spanish rice, haluski, macaroni and cheese, french fries or string beans (choose two); coleslaw or applesauce; bread and butter; and coffee or tea. The cost is $9 for adults and $4.50 for children. Dessert will be an additional $1.50. Containers will be provided for takeouts. Orders will be accepted from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. at 330-792-1005.
Holy Trinity Ukrainian Catholic Church Hall, 526 W. Rayen Ave., Youngstown, will sell potato and potato with kraut pirogi for $5 a dozen. Orders should be placed from 8 to 11 a.m. Thursday and 9:30 to 11 a.m. Friday at 330-746-9528, and are to be picked up between 10 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. Friday. Advance sales only. Lunches will be available beginning at 11 a.m. Friday.
Living Testimony Ministries, 34 Jacobs Road, Youngstown, will serve dinners of chicken, haddock or catfish with three sides, beverage, dessert and roll for $7.50 from noon to 6 p.m.

St. Paul the Apostle Church, 10143 Main St., New Middletown, will sell potato, sweet cabbage and cottage cheese pirogi. Orders can be called to 330-542-3525 from 7 to 11 a.m. Thursday and Friday. No walk-in orders will be accepted. Pickup will be from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Friday. The final sale before Christmas will be Dec. 17. Sales will resume Jan. 7.
St. Stanislaus Church, 430 Williamson Ave., Youngstown, will sell potato, kraut and cottage cheese pirogi. The cost is $5 a dozen. Bethel Lutheran Church, 425 Crestview, Boardman, will have a Christmas Cookie Walk from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Cookies are being made by the women of the church. In conjunction with the walk, Bethel Piecemakers will have hand-sewn and miscellaneous items for sale.

Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, 381 Robbins Ave., Niles, will sponsor a cavatelli dinner from noon to 5 p.m. in Marian Hall. Meals include two meatballs, salad, bread, cake and beverage. The cost is $6 for adults and $3 for children under 10.
St. John Evangelical Lutheran Church, 1429 Mahoning Ave., adjacent to Fellows Riverside Gardens, will have an all-you-can-eat Christmas buffet at noon in the Colonial Hall. Featured will be honey baked ham and potatoes, baked beans, peas and carrots, salad, rolls, assorted desserts and beverages. The donation is $9.95 for adults and $5 for children 6 to 12.
