Youngstown records 12 driving-under-suspension arrests at checkpoint

YOUNGSTOWN — The Youngstown Police Department has released figures from the most recent driver checkpoint conducted in the city.

The department conducted a Driving Under Suspension checkpoint Friday on the city’s South Side. The checkpoint resulted in 129 vehicles processed, 12 DUS arrests, seven vehicles towed, three drug arrests and two warrant arrests.
