St. Patrick students collect for the needy

Caring and sharing: Students at St. Patrick School in Hubbard had an opportunity recently to show that they care about the needy in the community. During two special dress-down days they collected canned goods, paper products and other helpful items to be shared with those in need. Sandy Slenker, above, is shown as she helped load the items into a van for pickup and distribution to the less fortunate by members of the St. Vincent de Paul Society, which operates a food pantry at St. Patrick Church.
