Warren man pleads innocent to burglary, gun charges

WARREN — Reggie Tyson, 28, of Lane Drive Southwest pleaded innocent to aggravated burglary and discharging a firearm into a habitation today in Warren Municipal Court after an incident involving him, the mother of three of his children and a juvenile male.

The incident occurred at a home on Paige Street Northeast just before midnight Friday.

Witnesses said Tyson kicked in the front door of the home where the children and their mother live and fought with the male inside.

Tyson also went outside and fired a gun once at the front of the house, police said.

Police found a muddy footprint on the front door, a bruise on the forehead of the juvenile, Tyson’s cell phone in the apartment and bullet damage to a gutter.

Officers located Tyson a short time later in the area of Forest Street Northeast and Vine Avenue.

Tyson is in Trumbull County jail in lieu of $100,000 bond. If convicted, he faces up to 18 years in prison.
