Douglas Raymond Foster and his bride, the former Jessica Louise Brinker, honeymooned on the Hawaiian island of Maui after their July 17 wedding at St. Rose Catholic Church.

The couple exchanged nuptial vows during a 2 p.m. ceremony in the presence of Monsignor John Zuraw, and greeted guests later that day during a reception at Mr. Anthony’s in the Maronite Center, Youngstown.

Parents of the bride are Daniel and Laureen Brinker of Girard, and the groom is a son of Gary and Josephine Foster of Girard.

Beaded embroidery accented the bodice of the bride’s strapless white satin gown. It featured an organza ball gown skirt and a chapel train.

Navy and watermelon pink gowns were worn by Jamie Fiest, the honor attendant, and the bridesmaids, Jena Guerrieri; Julia Guerrieri; Krista Foster, the groom’s sister; Megan Foster, his sister-in-law; Annie Partika, the bride’s cousin; Jacqueline Sias; and Katherine Thompson. Flower girl was the groom’s cousin Morgan Hunter.

Serving as best man was Gregory Foster, the groom’s brother, and groomsmen were Zachary Acerra; Martin Brinker, the bride’s brother; Nicholas Kacsandi; David Miller; Joseph Parisi; Terrence Swadener and Jonathan Thomas.

Mrs. Foster, a high school mathematics teacher with Howland Local Schools in Warren, graduated magna cum laude from St. Mary’s College with a bachelor’s degree in mathematics. She is pursuing a master’s degree in education in school counseling at Youngstown State University.

Mr. Foster graduated from John Carroll University with a bachelor’s degree in biology and from YSU with a master’s in business administration. He is a technologist with DuPont Performance Polymers in Stow.

The Fosters live in Girard.
