HandsOn network offers free marketing workshop

HandsOn Volunteer Network of the Valley Center for Nonprofit Innovation and Leadership is offering a marketing workshop Thursday called “Telling Your Story: Marketing for Nonprofits.”

The free event is from 1 to 5 p.m. at Mill Creek MetroParks D.D. and Velma Davis Education and Visitor Center, 123 McKinley Ave.

The workshop is presented by the Northeast Ohio Community Engagement Partnership program, consisting of HandsOn Volunteer Network, Janus Small Associates and the Mahoning Valley Organizing Collaborative, with support from the Raymond John Wean Foundation.

Guest speakers include Vince Bevacqua of The Prodigal Co., Tyler Clark of the Youngstown Business Incubator and Bruce Hennes of Hennes-Paynter Crisis Communications.
