Austintown police identify shooting victims

Austintown police continue to investigate the Saturday shooting at 4884 Westchester Drive.

The victims have been identified as Odomie Wellington, 31, of that address; and Alekum McLendon, 21, of 1402 Lansdowne Blvd., Youngstown.

Wellington was killed while seated in his vehicle after being shot. McLendon was able to run to a nearby apartment and ask a resident to call 911.
