Ursuline scores again

CANTON — The Fighting Irish of Ursuline extended their lead against Coldwater on another big play.

Junior running back Jesse Curry broke loose for a 53-yard touchdown run right up the middle to put the Irish back on top. An extra point by Jeff Podolsky gives the Irish a 15-7 lead.

After an Ursuline punt, Coldwater did the same on its second drive. Quarterback Ethan Bettinger was sacked by Curry on third down to force the punt.

The Fighting Irish again forced a Coldwater punt, which was downed at the Ursuline 2-yard line, where the Fighting Irish will begin their third drive.
