Ursuline-Coldwater Division V state championship pregame

CANTON — We are live from Fawcett Stadium in Canton, home of the Pro Football Hall of Fame, for the Division V state championship game between Ursuline and Coldwater.

Kickoff is about 40 minutes away.

Ursuline is the designated home team and are wearing their green jerseys with gold lettering and numerals, white pants and gold helmets. Coldwater is wearing white jerseys with black lettering and numerals, orange pants and orange helmets.

Ursuline is chasing their third-straight state crown. If successful, the Fighting Irish would be the first team in the Mahoning Valley to achieve the coveted “three-peat.”

Fans are slowly piling in to the frigid facility. The temperature is about 20 degrees on the field. But the sun is out, and both teams are ready to go.
