At Villa Maria Community Center

Villa Maria Community Center hosts its fifth annual Nativity display with more than 350 scenes.

When: Noon to 5 p.m. today and Sunday and next Saturday and Dec. 12.

Where: Villa Maria Community Center, Evergreen Road, Villa Maria, Pa. Travel 422 East one mile from the Ohio/Pennsylvania state line. Turn right on Evergreen Road; travel one mile. Follow signs to Villa Maria Community Center. The Villa Shoppe, featuring Fair Trade items and Nativity sets, will be open.

Dinners: A roast-beef dinner, featuring beef from cattle raised at Villa Maria, will be available from noon to 4 p.m. Sunday by reservation only. The menu includes corn, mashed potatoes with gravy, tossed salad, biscuits, dessert and beverage. Cost is $9 for adults and $4.50 for children. A lamb dinner will be noon to 4 p.m. Dec. 12 with Villa farm-raised lamb, pepper and garlic sauce rice, Syrian bread, tossed salad, dessert and beverage. Large is $9, and small, $7.50. Entertainment: Today’s music will be provided by harpist Kirk Kupensky from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. in the conference center. Sunday’s music will be St. Camillus choir and bell choir from 1 to 1:30 p.m. and New Bedford Presbyterian Church choir from 2 to 2:45, both in in Magnificat Chapel, and violinists Sisters Paulette Kirschensteiner, Toby Lardie and Kathleen Cannell from 3 to 4 p.m. in the conference center. Next Saturday will feature the violinists from 3 to 4 p.m. in the conference center. Dec. 12 entertainment will be instrumental music by students from Westminster College, New Wilmington, Pa., from noon to 1 p.m. and the violinsts from 1:30 to 2:30, both in the conference center, and Wade Raridon Singers from 3 to 3:45 in the chapel.
