CANTON — About a minute after Ursuline scored the first points of the game, Coldwater answered with a drive of their own.

Senior quarterback Ethan Bettinger connected with senior wide receiver Reese Klenke for a 49-yard touchdown run. Klenke, who had more than 1,600 receiving yards this year, broke a few tackles and did the rest of the dirty work.

Despite trailing 8-0 before the score, Coldwater’s Chip Otten elected to kick the extra point. Kicker Troy Otten split the uprights to bring the visitors within one.
