CCRA retiring financial director honored

Catholic Charities retirement: From left to right are Flo Prokop, Virginia Santone and Maria Carson. Carson, who was honored during a recent party at Alberini’s restaurant, retired as financial director after 47 years of employment at the Catholic Charities Regional Agency. In attendance for the celebration were co-workers, family, board members and friends. Santone is Carson’s mother, and Prokop, who retired in August from CCRA, is her sister. Carson began as a secretary at the agency. While working as office manager, she completed her bachelor’s degree in accounting from Youngstown State University. She had been financial director for the past 14 years.
