Boardman Park hosts community Christmas
The 14th annual Community Christmas at Boardman Park is an opportunity for the community to get together and celebrate the season.
The event is scheduled for Sunday at the Gazebo in Boardman Park from 3 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. and is free to the public.
Bring the little ones to greet Santa at 3 p.m. as he arrives on the Boardman fire truck.

Enjoy Christmas music from the Boardman High School band under the direction of Tom Ruggeri and sing Christmas carols led by Linda Smerck.
Keep warm and support the Boardman PTA, who will be providing hot chocolate and refreshments.
Families, Scouts, organizations and schools who reserved a tree will be decorating them with natural, edible decorations for the wildlife.
St. James Meeting House has been decorated for Christmas by the Holcomb Herb Guild and will be open for tours during the event. The decorations made by the members with flowers and herbs grown at Boardman Park.
Boardman Park is collecting donations of canned goods for the Second Harvest Food Bank.
