Former car-dealership employee charged with embezzlement

A former employee of the McElwain Motors car dealership here is charged with embezzling hundreds of thousands of dollars from the business.
Pennsylvania State Police said Robert Abraham Frazier, 36, of Prospect, Pa., embezzled $394,942 during his employment from 2004 to June 2009.
Police said he was employed in the accounting part of the business.
Police said Frazier used the money to make car and mortgage payments and for other personal expenses.
He is charged with theft by deception, theft by unlawful taking or disposition and theft by failure to make required disposition of funds received.
The charges were filed Wednesday. A warrant was out for his arrest, District Magistrate Jennifer Nicholson’s office said Thursday.
