Farmers employees help various causes

Holiday spirit will meet community spirit at the annual Farmers National Bank holiday party at The Embassy on Saturday. Each of the bank’s 300 employees will bring a $10 gift to the event to donate to the Toys for Tots campaign, sponsored by the U.S. Marine Corps. Farmers employees then will get a chance to share seasonal cheer, bidding on various raffles. The proceeds of the raffles will go to Second Harvest Food Bank. “Our employees believe in the importance of supporting this Valley,” Farmers chief executive John Gulas said in a statement. “It’s something we do every day in our work at the bank, and these donations are a fun and creative way of extending those efforts into the holiday season.”
