Cook healthful foods for the holidays

LEAVITTSBURG

A free healthful holiday cooking class has been scheduled from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. Thursday at First Community Church of Leavittsburg, 4640 W. Market St.

Those attending will learn how to prepare easy, healthful holiday foods that are low in fat, sugar and calories and will have an opportunity to taste the prepared foods.

Sponsored by Trumbull County Health Department and the Ohio State Extension, Trumbull County, the event is funded by the Prevention Health and Health Services Block Grant Centers of Disease Control and Prevention.
