The Rev. Russell Adams solemnized the marriage of Julie Fantauzzi and John Emrich on Sept. 25 at Western Reserve United Methodist Church, and the couple accepted congratulations after the ceremony during a reception at the B&O Station Banquet Hall in Youngstown.

The bride, a daughter of David and Vivian Fantauzzi of Boardman, and the groom, a son of John and Kathy Emrich, also of Boardman, honeymooned in Aruba and live in Poland.

The bride wore an ivory lace trumpet-style gown with a keyhole back and beaded sash.

Wearing apple red dresses were Sara Smith, the bride’s sister and matron of honor, and Christina Angelilli, the maid of honor. Flower girl was the bride’s niece, Isabella Smith.

The duties of best man were shared by Kevin Emrich, the groom’s brother, and Greg LoVaglio.

Mrs. Emrich, a second-grade teacher in Austintown, is a summa cum laude graduate of Youngstown State University with a degree in early childhood education.

Mr. Emrich graduated from New Castle School of Trades and is the manager of the local Marc’s Deeper Discount Store.
