Informative talks offered at fun day

Boardman Park and Senior Independence hosted a Senior Fun Day on Nov. 18 at Boardman Township Park, where Leslie Brazel spoke about Medicare, and Elissa Douglas, volunteer coordinator, explained the physical, mental and spiritual services provided by Senior Independence.

For more information about Medicare, those attending the event were told to call 330-394-7400, and for information on the special services to call 330-980-2429.The Dec. 16 meeting will be hosted by Sunrise Assisted Living and the Dec. 23 meeting by Ron Joy/Sateri Homes.
