Allison Brooke Hixson exchanged wedding vows with Mark Daniel Lipinsky in a 1:30 p.m. ceremony Aug. 7 at St. Charles Catholic Church, officiated by the Rev. Shawn Conoboy.

The bride, daughter of Steve and Laurie Hixson of Youngstown, and her groom, son of Marty and Yvonne Lipinsky of Boardman, left for a honeymoon in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic, after their reception at Antone’s Banquet Centre.

The bride’s diamond-white strapless gown was fashioned in a mermaid-style, with a fitted bodice. It was adorned with crystals and featured a cathedral train.

Wearing purple gowns were Rachel Hixson, the bride’s sister, who was maid of honor, and the bridesmaids, Maria Wright, cousin of the bride; Jenelle Dunkel and Candace Mirto. Chloe Schultz, cousin of the bride, was flower girl.

Alex Lipinsky served as best man for his brother, and Tyler Hardgrove, David Abrams, and J.J. Gobel, the groom’s cousin, were groomsmen. Participating as ring bearer was Eli Kranjec, the groom’s nephew.

Mrs. Lipinsky attends Youngstown State University. She is employed as an apparel buyer for Second Sole.

Mr. Lipinsky is employed as account manager at Second Sole. He graduated from YSU with a degree in accounting.
