Dedication Saturday at new Girard school

Girard City School District will have a dedication ceremony and open house Saturday at the new junior-senior high school, 1244 Shannon Road.

Speakers will be Gov. Ted Strickland, U.S. Rep. Tim Ryan of Niles, D-17th, and school officials.

The dedication and ribbon- cutting will be at 1 p.m. followed by an open house from 2 to 4 p.m.
