Air Force troupe to give show at Packard

Tops In Blue, the U.S. Air Force’s premier entertainment showcase, will give a free concert at 7 p.m. Sept. 11 at Packard Music Hall.

The doors will open at 6:15 p.m. ,and seating is general admission.

The 910th Airlift Wing of Vienna is sponsoring the tour locally and welcomes one of its own back to the Valley. Tech. Sgt. Kevin McGovern, the Readiness Training supervisor for the 910th Force Support Squadron, is serving as the transportation noncommissioned officer for Tops In Blue’s world tour. Sgt. McGovern is a resident of Massillon.

Tops In Blue selects its 35 members from the thousands of Air Force personnel who compete in talent contests on bases, be they vocalists, musicians, dancers, comedians, magicians or dramatists. Known as the Air Force’s Expeditionary Entertainers, the group’s main mission is to perform for military personnel and their families throughout the world.
