McMurrays mark golden year at family party

Mr. and Mrs. Robert P. McMurray of Columbiana celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary June 27 with a party hosted by their sons at The Links Banquet Center at Firestone Farms. Family and friends attended the brunch buffet.

The former Rebecca Jane Reese became the bride of Robert P. McMurray on June 18, 1960, at the First United Methodist Church in Columbiana. They have been members there for more than 50 years.

Mr. McMurray retired in 1991 from the East Ohio Gas Company after 40 years of service.

The couple have two sons, Robert II of Cleveland and Rodney of Columbiana. Their family includes a grandson, Dylan, and a step-grandson, Cody, both of Columbiana.
