Lisa M. Trinkaus and Jacob N. Terlecki, both of Newburg, Md., were united in marriage during a 2 p.m. ceremony on July 10 at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church.

Monsignor Michael J. Cariglio officiated at the wedding for the daughter of Frank Trinkaus of Salem and Cheryl Trinkaus of Austintown, and the son of Richard Terlecki and Judith Szabo, both of Youngstown.

After accepting congratulations at a reception at St. Mary’s Assumption Social center, the couple left on a wedding trip to Niagara Falls, Montreal, Quebec City and the eastern townships of Quebec Province in Canada. They live in Maryland.

The bride wore a strapless ivory trumpet-style gown enhanced with embroidered lace, crystals and sequins and featuring a blush sash and a chapel train.

Cream, blush and taupe gowns were worn by Erica A. Boda, the bride’s sister and honor attendant, and the bridesmaids, Nichelle Bilotto, Teri McDougal, and Sarah Terlecki, the groom’s sister.

Justin Terlecki performed the duties of best man for his brother, and groomsmen were Josh Terlecki and Jeffery Terlecki, his brothers, and Nicholas Trinkaus, a brother of the bride.

The bride and groom graduated from Youngstown State University with bachelor’s degrees in education. She is a social studies teacher and he is a science teach with Charles County Public Schools in La Plata, Md.
