Gates-Bowes wedding plans are announced

STRUTHERS

Gary and Donna Gates of Struthers are announcing the engagement and plans for the fall wedding of their daughter, Bridget Ryan Gates of Struthers, and William E. Bowes Jr., a son of Bill and Marianne Bowes, all of Struthers.

Miss Gates is an intervention specialist with the Mahoning County Educational Service Center at Lynn Kirk Elementary School in Austintown. She graduated from Youngstown State University with a bachelor’s degree in special education K-12.

Mr. Bowes, a sheet metal worker with Youngstown Local 33, is employed by York Mahoning Mechanical Contractors Inc. in Youngstown. He is a graduate of ETI Technical College in Niles.

The couple will be married during an open ceremony at 1:30 p.m. Oct. 2 at Bridge of Hope Church in Boardman. Invitations will be issued for their reception that evening in the Palermo Center at St. Lucy Church, Campbell.
