Dinner party marks Rusu anniversary

Mr. and Mrs. David Rusu of Struthers celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary on Aug. 28 at a dinner party that took place at Bogey’s Bar and Grill in Lowellville.

Hosts for the party were their children and their spouses. The Rusus’ 20 grandchildren and 28 great-grandchildren attended the event.

Mr. Rusu and the former Jeannette Horvath were united in marriage on Sept. 1, 1950, in Richmond, Ind.

Mr. Rusu, a charter member of Coitsville Volunteer Fire Department, was the founder and previous owner of American Dream Pools, where he also served as vice president before retiring in 1984. He was employed by Coitsville Township as superintendent of roads and retired in 1999.

Mrs. Rusu is a homemaker.
