Ryan McSweeney passed for 138 yards to lead Garfield Heights Trinity to a 32-6 victory over Brookfield on Saturday.

McSweeney’s 39-yard scoring toss to Tom Pieronic 84 seconds into the game put the Trojans ahead for keeps.

A recovered fumble returned for a touchdown on a kickoff and Jerrod Gehring’s 20-yard interceptionr eturn helped Trinity jump ahead, 32-0, in the second quarter.

Jeremy Quinlan hit Jake Sidlowski with a 14-yard touchdown pass in the third quarter for Brookfield’s score. Quinlan rushed for 113 yards and passed for 70.
