Liberty locks in lower gas prices

Dominion East Ohio Gas customers in Liberty will see lower prices from January to March 2011 because Northeast Ohio Public Energy Council bought gas for $6.66 per MCF (measure cubic feet).

Liberty is a member of NOPEC, a nonprofit governmental utility organization. NOPEC said this is the lowest price since 2002.

Current price through December of this year is $6.78 MCF.
