Poland neighbors and friends from the ‘60s and ‘70s reunited Aug. 14 for a day of old-fashioned fun.

More than 35 people traveled to Countryside Farm to catch up on the last 30 or 40 years and reminisce about the good old days. Newspapers, yearbooks and magazines were on display and afternoon thunderstorms didn’t damper spirits. The guests continued to dance, sing, play corn hole and enjoy a picnic dinner.

Most people still lived in Mahoning County, many in Poland. But Barb (McLain) and Joe Carchedi came all the way from Pahrump, Nev., to take part in the reunion.

They were joined by out-of-towners Pat and Joe Moore from Newport News, Va,, Bill Slosser from Charleston, S.C., and David Williamson from Myrtle Beach.
