Kevon M. Williams, 19, of the 2300 block of Ohio Avenue, is in Mahoning County jail after being arrested for trafficking in drugs and felonious assault after an incident around 7:45 p.m. Wednesday. Bounty hunters looking for Williams, who had skipped out on a bond, called police for assistance. Bounty hunters had contacted Williams about buying a Mercedes, and they met in the vicinity of Albert Street and McGuffey Road on the city’s East Side. Williams assaulted one of the bounty hunters, police said. Police found three large bags of marijuana, about 1 ounce each, in Williams’ car and four suspected Altrum pills. Police found that Williams had other charges through Youngstown Municipal Court.
