ASSOCIATIONS

Mill Creek Chapter, ABWA, will host its Sept. 14 meeting at 6 p.m. at A La Cart in Canfield. The menu will be stuffed cabbage, chicken francaise, potatoes, vegetables, salads, cake and beverages for $16.50. The speaker will be Carrie Kocian with her dog Rallo, from the Therapy Pet Program of the Delta Society of the Cleveland Clinic. CLASSES

Campbell Memorial High School Class of 1950 will meet for lunch at noon Wednesday at Bedford Trails.

McDonald High School Class of 1956 will meet at 6 p.m. Monday in the senior citizens room at the post office building.

Wilson High School Class of 1951 will meet for breakfast at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Landmark Restaurant, 7424 Market St., Boardman. All classmates and guests are welcome.

CLUBS

McDonald Parents of Performing Arts will meet at 4 p.m. Wednesday in the senior citizens room at the post office building.

Niles Silver Thimbles will meet at 10 a.m. Thursday at Viking-White Sewing Center, 40 Youngstown-Warren Road, Niles.

Ohio Cultural Alliance will mark its 24th year and the first meeting of the 2010 season at its 6 p.m. dinner Sept. 13 at Holy Trinity Serbian Hall, 54 Laird Ave., Youngstown. “Resonating Voices of the World” will be the theme for the new season. Rabbi Joel Berman will speak about Moses, and guitarist Teddy Pantelas will provide music. Serbian church caterers will prepare the meal. Memberships, which run from Sept. 2010 to June 2011, will continue at $25 per person, and the cost for each meeting will be $15 for each paid up member and $20 for each nonmember. Reservations may be mailed to OCA, P.O. Box 561, Canfield, OH 44406-0561 no later than Sept. 7. Those attending are encouraged to take items of canned foods or other nonperishables for the St. Vincent de Paul Soup Kitchen.

Poland Center Homemakers will meet from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Wednesday at Poland United Methodist Church. Hostesses will be Jane Kerr and Alice McDonald.

Warren Women’s Connection will sponsor a “Forever Young” luncheon from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Sept. 13 at DiLucia’s Banquet Room, 2610 Elm Road NE, Warren. The cost is $12. The program will include a special feature on affordable natural skin care by Cathy McCracken, music by Jenah Ross, and a talk by Judith Barlow, a busy person who found inner peace. LIBRARY FRIENDS

Friends of Poland Library will meet at 10 a.m. Sept. 7 at the library meeting room. Gloria Rule will present a book review. Members are asked to take a favorite dish for the potluck luncheon. Dessert and beverages will be provided by the hostesses, June Deely, Marjorie Downie, Glenda Hoagland and Emma Eggleston. Magazines and books will be collected for the book cart.

RELIGIOUS GROUPS

St. Anthony Altar and Rosary Society will meet after 10:30 a.m. Mass Sunday at the church. Style show tickets will be available.

St. Rose Quilting Group will meet at 10 a.m. every Wednesday of the month in the parish house.

SERVICE CLUBS

Girard-Liberty Kiwanis will meet at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday at The Golf Dome, 1300 N. State St., Girard.
