K9 fundraiser Saturday at mall

Boardman Police Department K9 Unit will conduct a fundraiser from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Saturday near the Dillard’s concourse in the Southern Park Mall. K9 Yuma will be featured at the community day event during the morning hours and recently retired K9 Robby will be there in the evening.

Patty the Face Painting Lady will be present from 2 to 4:30 and donations will benefit the K9 unit. The Balloon Doctor will donate balloons for children and there will be a Chinese auction. The drawing will be at 8 p.m.
