A story on Page A4 of Wednesday’s Vindicator under the headline “City schools hire 28 teachers for kindergarten, first grade” incorrectly reported that the Youngstown Education Association, the union representing city school teachers, had issued a 10-day strike notice. The membership didn’t send a 10-day strike notice to the State Employment Relations Board. The YEA members authorized the bargaining team to do so when it deems appropriate.
