Ohio man sues ex-doctors convicted of sex crimes

HAMILTON, Ohio (AP) — An Ohio man has filed a lawsuit accusing twin ex-pediatricians convicted of sex crimes against former patients of molesting him.

A 23-year-old Hamilton man seeks more than $25,000 in his lawsuit against Mark and Scott Blankenburg and their medical practice and says he was molested as a teen. The suit in Butler County Common Pleas Court in southwest Ohio accuses the Blankenburgs of sexual abuse and assault among other allegations.

An ex-patient sued Mark Blankenburg in November alleging the doctor reneged on a promise to financially support him if he kept quiet about being molested.

Mark Blankenburg’s attorney, Douglas Graff, says he hasn’t seen the latest suit and cannot comment on it. He calls the 2009 lawsuit meritless.

No attorney was listed for Scott Blankenburg.
