Lindsay Lohan could get early release from rehab

LOS ANGELES — A decision on whether Lindsay Lohan can leave her locked-down rehab center at UCLA could come early as Wednesday.

The hearing is set for 8:30 a.m. PDT Wednesday at Los Angeles County Superior Court in Beverly Hills. Judge Eldon Fox is expected to issue an order from the bench at that time, according to court officials.

Lohan was supposed to stay in rehab for 90 days after completing her stint in a Lynwood jail for violating her probation in a drunk-driving case.

But it’s now possible that the actress could leave the UCLA facility after less than a full month.

Due to overcrowding, Lohan served just 13 days of a 90-day sentence at the jail.

Fox met behind closed doors last week with the actress’ lawyer, Shawn Chapman Holley, and this week with prosecutor Danette Meyer to discuss Lohan’s progress and the timing of her release.

Lohan has been at Ronald Reagan-UCLA Medical Center since Aug. 2.
