The wedding of Kelly Lynn Colvin, formerly of Youngstown, and Robert Carl Jimerson, both of Homosassa, Fla, took place at 2 p.m. July 10 at St. Benedict Church.

The marriage was solemnized by the Rev. Ryszard Stradomski, and the couple welcomed guests during a reception at Turtle Creek RV Resort, in Homosassa. After a wedding trip to Clearwater Beach, Fla., the couple live in Homosassa.

The bride is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Engels of Homosassa and the late Steve Yaksich. The groom’s parents are Anne Jimerson of Port Charlotte, Fla., and Robert E. Jimerson of Fort Lauderdale, Fla.

The bride wore a strapless white gown with beading on the side and on the train.

Lavender gowns were worn by Martha Garcia, the honor attendant, and the bridesmaid, Lysa Burlew, the groom’s niece. Flower girl was the groom’s niece, Kaylei Vuolo.

Robert Suza served as best man for his brother-in-law, and groomsman was Nick Vuolo, the groom’s brother. His nephew, Rock Suza, was ring bearer, and usher was George Dluhy.

Mrs. Jimerson is attending the University of Phoenix in Tampa, Fla. She is a stocker/seafood associate with Winn-Dixie in Homosassa.

Mr. Jimerson is a self-employed handyman in Homosassa.
