The marriage of Sally Pellett, daughter of Gail and Rupert Pellett of Newark, Ohio, and Tom Manning, son of Alice and Tom Manning of Youngstown, was solemnized by the Rev. Patrick Manning, the groom’s uncle, at 2:30 p.m. June 25 at St. Peter Church.

The couple accepted congratulations during a reception later that day at Walter Commons at St. Charles Preparatory School in Columbus. After a wedding trip to Costa Rica, they live in Toledo.

Erin Banks, the honor attendant, wore a spring green gown, as did the bridesmaids, Meaghan Manning, the groom’s sister; Michele Bloor; Katie Owczarski; the bride’s cousin; Kim Panther; Sunny Biddle; and Bridget Harrington. Flower girl was the bride’s cousin, Emily Mettille.

Patrick Manning served as best man for his brother, and groomsmen were Joey and Tommy Pellett, the bride’s brothers; Joe Montgomery; Zack Acerra, the groom’s cousin; Ryan Petruska; Randy Mason; Scott Casto; and Ross Watson. The bride’s cousin, Jake Pellett, was ring bearer, and ushers were Jason Candle; Matt Campbell; the groom’s uncle, Tony Ball; Charles Hartranft; Dave Slanina; and Ted Fox.

The bride graduated from Mount Union College with a degree in athletic training/health and is pursuing a master’s in education at the University of Toledo. She is a teacher at Four County Career Center in Toledo.

The groom is a football coach at the University of Toledo. He graduated from Mount Union College with a degree in history and from Emory and Henry College with a master’s degree.
